I should have tested more
The blank page problem is only partially solved. The Mail users page still doesn't work.
Any clue what could cause the problem? I will try the debug option again and report, should I get any insight.

Hi All,

We have added two-lines to "class/module.textsanitizer.ph" in order to make right-to-left comments/messages/submissions render correctly in XOOPS.
This is necessary for languages like Farsi (our case), Arabic and Hebrew. See here for an example.
This is the code added:

$patterns[] = "/[rtl](.*)[/rtl]/sU";
$replacements[] = '<table><tr><td dir="RTL">\1</td></tr></table>';

Can we have this added to XOOPS as a feature? That would be great. We can enhance it a bit more, e.g. with a button, but for now this will do.

Greetings,
azeini

I had a look at the files in the upgrade package and was also able to recall our modifications. I didn't need to do much. The upgrade was easy, painless and smooth.
The blank page problem is fixed

Thanks a lot.

Hi Herko,

Thanks for your reply. You are right the database contains more than 300 users and I had also initially a problem to migrate the users to XOOPS, the same symptoms.
We are using 2.0.3 and have done some little modifications to the code. Is there a safe way to upgrade to a newer version while preserving the modifications?
(I guess this is a stupid question but I ask to be sure)

Hi,

Since a while we are using XOOPS 2.0.3 for our site and I have noticed one strange thing while working with the system: Every once in a while some links from the admin part end up in a blank page. This happened first with the mail users part and now with the Groups part. What happens is that when I click on a link to submit the emails or to to go to a group for setting the permissions, the browser begins to work for a while and then ends up in a blank page and nothing else happens.
The same link would have been working the day before!

Does anybody know what this could be?

Thanks in advance.
