Hey Flipse;

Thanks... it seems that there was a problem with one of the modules (in the group of 4) that were uploaded but not installed... I deleted them all, via ftp, and re-uploaded the module I was trying to install... now the problem is gone!

Everything appears to be working as it should now...

Thanks a bunch for lighting the light bulb!!!

All Modules...

As stated, when I go to the admin, modules screen I see the listing of installed modules along with the "Install Module" button (in this case it shows that there are 4 modules loaded but not yet installed) When I click on the "Install Module" button I get back a white screen....

XOOPS Version XOOPS 2.5.1a
PHP Version 5.2.17
mySQL Version 5.0.92-log
Server API cgi-fcgi
OS Linux

Above you can see the versions we are running.

I am having problems uploading a new module.... When I am in Admin and in the "Modules" screen I can see the listing of installed modules. When I click on the "Install Module" button i am returned a White Screen (/modules/system/admin.php?fct=modulesadmin&op=installlist).

I have updated the "System" module... this affects no change...

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Hey guys;

Could someone please point me in the right direction...

What and where are the controls for the Polling, interval, or number of seconds, between when the Who's online re-writes that information into the "Who's Online" block and when the actual poll is done? Or is this only accomplished on a refresh?

My dear Xoops friends... forget about this module... and install Zen as a stand alone... not only did this module not work but the developer never responds to any e-mails... It just flat out does not work!

And what really sucks is I paid $20US for this piece of ?????!
I should have none better!

Don't waste your time... your module is broken and most likely unfix-able... I purchased CometChat and installed it... I recommend this product to any webmaster that wants to add an IM feature to their site... forget this XIM module it had so many bad affect on the website I had to completely uninstall it I am sure glad it was free!

This problem only has a work around... by doing as suggested and removing myself from the webmaster group and adding a new group as suggested...

This answer/confirmation came from WishCraft Himself...

Hey Andrax;

Thank you for the reply I have done as instructed... And it appears that that did indeed fix part of the problem.... Everything seems to work in Fire Fox... in IE9 the chat box opens and I can see the Friends online however when I click on a friend the actual chat pop up does not open... unless I refresh the page I think the "heart beat" is not working in IE9...

Also after I refresh and get the chat pop up I can input text but there is no way to send it... In Fire Fox after I type I hit "enter" and the text message is sent... in IE9 when I hit "enter" after inputting my message... I get a carriage return not a send...

If you would like I will send you Privately a username & password so you can log on as a registered user...

I deactivated and uninstalled this module....

Then I reinstalled it and activated it and now everything seems to be working....

And by the way I did have the latest version running to begin with...

It is just another one of those pesky bugs that seem to randomly pop up!

Thanks WetSteve
