Re: I dont know if there is anyway around this, so I need your help with login box.

When I put that code in it caused everything in the rightblocktheme.html file not to show up.

I dont know if there is anyway around this, so I need your help with login box.

OK, Ive made my extra theme, but instead of calling on blocks for the navigation, Ive gone in and coded teh themeleft and themeright to hold them.

My question is, is there anyway to call only a specific block from the themeright.html file? Im trying to get the login box and usermenu in, but if I copy the code from the blockitself, it doesnt show up. If i edit it to normal html, all shows up, but the login doesnt disappear when your logged in, and the usermenu never goes away.

Because Im not using the blocks in the layout themselves, I need to call only the login / usermenu block, hopefully there is a way to do this.

Thanks for any help.

Edit - Can I call a block with an include? Grab the block straight from the modules/system/templates/blocks folder??

Re: index width

check your css. There is a reference to div#content and check its settings. I had the problem and edited that and solved it.

Re: EDITED : Making Another New Theme, Have Questions

Its not letting me use smarty code within the block, this is getting aggrivating.

Re: EDITED : Making Another New Theme, Have Questions

That did cause the left block to show up now. Now my only problem, is being able to go into my new block and use code like that to allow it to determine which image to load depending on theme.

My navs have images, like main database, game help, multimedia and under each image is the respective content. When I switch to the other theme, I want those images to change (they have same file names too), but the content to stay.

The best way I can describe this, is when I insert my img tag, is there any way to make it draw the image drom the current theme folder? Or is there any tag such as
{X_SITEURL}

that will allow me to do this? Ive tried looking for XOOPS code guides but no luck with em.

New Theme Problems

OK hopefully I can get help this time around.
Im making a new theme so people can choose between them. I have already made one before, but when you are supposed to change default/xoops_blockleft in the theme.html, i never did, and all runs fine.

With this new one, if I chance it to its name, simplicity/xoops_blockleft.html in my theme.html file, nothing shows up.

What Im trying to do, is make another theme. For my menus, Ive used custom blocks with images in them. In the new theme, I dont want those images, but a different set. How can I get around this without really editing everything all over?

Also, if i go into theme.html and add default back into those tags, I can view my blocks once again. Is there a tag I can enter that will tell XOOPS which image to grab depending upon the css??

Thanks for anyhelp.
