fmcontent problem help plz

Hi, please I need your help, I have the latest version of XOOPS, I installed the fmcontent to create pages with content.
I create topics, when I go to create the contents, i insert the title page, the image ... I click validate, And a message appears and writes _FMCONTENT_MSG_ERROR.
i don't know what the problem, please help.

Fmcontent works flawless on one of my sites with xoops 2.5.5.... Can you give some more information?

* Version fmcontent you have
* Enable debug, do you see any fmcontent related errors when submitting news?

Talking about using images... Does the map /uploads/fmcontent/img/ exist and is it writable?

What PHP version are you using?

Do you have Debug turned on? If not, please do, and tell us if you are getting any errors there...

And tell us exactly what steps are you doing, before you get the error?

Is it when you submit just a regular content?

We need to be able to reproduce it...

You need PHP 5.2 as minimum.
We recommend having PHP 5.3+

my hosting is compatible with php5, but i use php 4 , because if i want to use php 5, i think it's necessary to change all .php extension to .php5

It depends on your host. Normally you should be able to change it to PHP5 in your Control Panel, without any changes to the file extensions.

Please contact your host directly and ask them to set you up with PHP 5. I assume, they will set you up with PHP 5.3, which is good!

You have to get rid of PHP 4 as soon as possible!

they tell me :
To use php 5, simply transferred via FTP your scripts with the extension php5. For example:
monscript.php5

To switch from php4 to php5 for files with extension. Php, just open the. Htaccess file is in the root of your site, and add the following information:

SetEnv DEFAULT_PHP_VERSION 5

But for example, if you have a. Htaccess file should not be replaced. In this case, add this line of code in existing ones.


Note: new accommodation use default version 4 to run php files with the extension. Php

I think, you need to change you host provider. I think, it was in the past when you wanted to have both PHP 4 and PHP 5 on the system, that you needed to change the extensions name.

But now, everything is on PHP 5, so there is no need to keep both, and the host provider should provide you the option to select which version you want to use. If they cannot do it, then change to another host.

Arvixe is a good choice for it.
