I would like to convert hte IPB users to xoops.

I want to retrieve users from a table to add IPB on xoops.
I meet a little problem because I do not know what was used in xoops ACTkey column in the user table. Is that I can leave this column blank if I import my users IPB?
Regarding the password of the members does it have an impact?
If I import manually in the DB in utilisteurs users is what I predict to insert data into another table? (user_link)
