Long version- I started to lose the blocks in my original install of News version 1.67. Blocks initially stopped working then all together disappeared.
I tried to reinstall 1.67 and was getting the
Error : Smarty error: [in db:news_block_top.html line 915]: syntax error: unidentified token '#039;counter'' (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 1410) error. I cleared the smarty cache and I can get to the module thru the top news tab my page but still no blocks, thus news isn't appearing in the main menu.
Ideas?
