Can you create a PHP block with Tiny Editor?

I like the feature to use Tiny Editor as default editor for blocks, but unless I have missed something, you lose the ability to select 'PHP' as the block type.

Does anyone know if PHP tags can be added as a valid extended element in Tiny Editor?, or if there's another workaround? It doesn't like the Smarty PHP tags.

I know I can change the default editor temporarily, but it would be useful to have the option when creating a block, IMHO.
A thread is for life. Not just for Christmas.
