I'm having troubles with the x-forum module....

I'm trying to set the permissions saying group "A" has access to this category, but not this one, and group "B" has access to that one only, etc, but when I submit my changes, it won't save it cause it says "You don't have permission to do that" which doesn't make sense since I am the admin....

Any idea which table in the xoops database I could possibly just edit to make those changes? I didn't see it :(

I'll try updating the module but I don't think that will do it...I've got version 5.51 of the module and xoops 2.4.5....(might go try updating to xoops 2.5.0..haven't decided yet)

Please let me know any ideas :)

try clearing your cookies you have probably been logged into admin for too long..

well as soon as I cleared my cookies, I went into a infinite loop because I had set the home page to use x-forums but didn't realize that non-logged in users couldn't access it....so after I finally got that fixed lol.....I still can't change permissions....

I'll try upgrading xoops...maybe that might help...who knows....

so I upgraded to 2.5 and it seems to work great so far (although I did start from scratch too...I had just started creating the site anyways)
