I had extGallery installed once already and ended up un-installing it while fixing a few other issues. But now when I try to install it again I receive this error message and I have not been able to work past it.

Help.

Unable to install extgallery. Error(s):

Installing eXtGallery

Table 'x6b7_extgallery_publiccat' already exists

OH man I feel stupid, I found the answer everyone. Just had to go into the xoopx DB and delete the tables
