Hi,

I was trying to determine which CMS is best for our needs. Looking for something that would allow different users to have their own pages with their own photos as well as information specific to them that would be stored in a record in a MySQL database.

Is XOOP a good choice for this or am I better off going with something like Joomla, PHP Nuke or Mambo?

Thank you!

Jim

Jim, thank you for stopping by and your interest in XOOPS.

Yes, XOOPS would be a very good solution for it. And depending on how sophisticated you would like to get, there are different module solutions for it, e.g.:

- User Page (download here)

- Social Profile (in German)

Just download and install XOOPS and these modules, and start experimenting with them, and if you have any questions, just stop by on these forums.

Thank You!

I'll install and download those modules and play around this weekend. Thanks again, I appreciate the help.

Jim
