MyTabs - which version to use?

Okay...... MyTabs2.0 is in the Module Repository on here and I think it's the version used on this site.

However, there's a version labelled 2.1 Final available via (and in use on) Trabis' website:http://www.xuups.com/

Which is the best version for use with XOOPS 2.3.1?

TIA

Marvellous

Can we replace v2.0 with v2.1 in the Modules Repository?

Done.

However, the link was generic and pointed to:

http://code.google.com/p/xuups/downloads/list

where both versions were available.

I believe best version is 2.1 lol
Here is the change log:

<b><u>=> Version 2.1 Final (2008-09-04)</u></b>
- Improved: Css margins and paddings, bottom border added in jquery.css and shadetabs.css as in original files.

<b><u>=> Version 2.1 RC2 (2008-09-02)</u></b>
- Fixed: Some css were fixed to look alike in IE and Mozilla.
- Fixed: Javascript bug in IE when not using 'on mouse over'
- Fixed: XOOPS 2.2.x bug - Impossible to select menu class in blocks administration.
- Added: Possibility to use mytabs blocks inside a mytabs page (use this with caution).
- Improved: Blocks with same 'uniqueid' will not display to avoid conflict.

<b><u>=> Version 2.1 RC (2008-08-31)</u></b>
- Improved: 'css' folder removed and 'menus' folder added, new menus are now added as folders containing the style.css and the necessary images.
- Fixed: Css conflicts. Css files and templates were changed, some IDs turned into Classes and were renamed.
- Added: Five new menus added.

<b><u>=> Version 2.1 Beta (2008-08-30)</u></b>
- Added: XOOPS 2.2.x compatible
- Added: content is displayed in tabs using 'link to'
- Added: Tabs with 'link to' can now work with 'revealid' (must have onmouseover enable)
- Added: Horizontal bar to prevent hidden content in screens with low resolution.
- Fixed: bug in javascript that would cause it to crash if the 'revealid' was not present on page.
- Fixed: No more limitations! You can now use several mytabs blocks with delay>0(scrolling) in the same page.

I'm sure you're right..... just wanted to make sure it's okay with XOOPS 2.3.1

Thanks for your work - I think my "cluttered" homepage will be receiving a makeover

I believe XOOPS.org is using custom blocks for displaying important news.

I did not understand your first question.

Good morning Travis.
Here is what i mean: At the tab called "Breaking news" for example at Xoops.org you can see at left a main topic and in the same tab at the right you can see other topics which change automatically.

What i wanna do is to have one topic as main and the others to change at the same tab.

Hope to make you understand what i mean. if don't please ask me again :)

The "Breaking News" tab is a custom Tab which is done manually with HTML.
The "Recent News" tab is an automatic tab, that uses the "Spotlight on the left" and Recent news on the right.
