| by tank1955 on 2008/11/6 2:53:21 Well, cleaning up the code took me less time than I anticipated. All the annoying Notices appearing in debug have now been taken care of. I also updated the sanitizing calls to eliminate the 'deprecated' debug messages. I will see what I can add over the next few days in the way of new features and with a little luck I will have the next beta (v1.81) available for download by the weekend. |

| by tank1955 on 2008/11/5 2:18:34 Thanks so much. I really appreciate the kind words. As far as new features I am still organizing my thoughts. So many non-english sites are using the module now that I really think I should add full language support and provide an easy method for people to submit their translation (language directory files) to be included. This also means performing some cleanup of the current english language files. I have been thinking about providing a few more formats for display options and I definitely need to provide a module style sheet and update my template files so users have an easy way of defining element attributes to match their site's theme. I will probably be moving some of my existing functions into classes for a little cleaner structure. I will also be spending some time reviewing new features available in XOOPS 2.3.x that I may be able to take advantage of. Rest assured I will still maintain the "keep it simple" look and feel. |
