My forum is newbb 3.08.

My problem is:
- Current status: if user set view mode in forum to Newest First then after reply in topic or relogin, the setting turn back to Oldest First(default view mode), event when user had set view mode in User Setting panel.

Tried:
- In Admin > Reference setting, I set option "Enable user moderation" to YES.
But not effective.

Help:
- How to save setting view mode (Oldest first, Newest First) for individual user ? User will set by themself and save for next login if they want.

Hi,

Go to Admin>newbb>Forums. Click on the "Edit" buttom for the Forum for which you which to set a moderator.

Scroll to the bottom of the form and select the users that you wish to have moderating rights. Hold the the Ctrl key down to select multiple users.

you will have to do this for each forum individually.

I'm not sure if you need to set "Enable user moderation" to yes or not. I guess you'll have to work it out for yourself

But I thinks I tell wrong my mean.
- I known how to set user to moderator.
- But my trouble focuses on "view mode" of forum. User want to view Newest Post first on all thread of newbb.
But after setting this, they view another thread but view mode will back to View mode: Oldest Mode.
How to save setting view mode for each user.
I will not set them to moderator ?
