Java script popup functions fail after changing theme

Hi

I have gone through the faq and done many searches using differnt kewords and have not been able to find a solution.

The problem i am having is with some of the java script functions built into the XOOPS core that when clicked on open a new browser window.

When using the default theme that comes with the XOOPS core everything works correctly, however the problem arises when i use a theme i downloaded from the themes library.

When using the theme the java that does not open a new window still works fine, it is the java that does open an new browser window that fails to work.

thanks in advance for any assistance anyone can give me

Does this happen with all themes that you've downloaded or just a few?

Which themes are giving the problem?

So far it has only been the one theme fiblack3d, all the other themes that i have used on other sites have worked just fine.

Hmm ok so I gather everyone has no idea.

I don't know much about codeing as yet i am learning as i go i have started trying to do a comparison between the code of the theme i want to use that doesn't work and one that does work to see if i can find anything that has been left out or a typo ect

so far to no avail.

if any one has any ideas or suggestions i would greatly apprechiate it.

i'm almost tempted to try and make my own theme with what little hair that i have left.
