I have my time zone set in preferences but when a post is made on the forum it is 5 hours or so fast. Where else can I control the site time?

the time on your site is set in system admin=>pref=>general settings=>server timezone. and the line below that(for what new user's timezones should be set to or when viewing site as anonymous).

and it is also set in your profile.

Yes I know that and when I set the prefence to GMT -6 (server time zone and mine), the time is not right. I had to set it to GMT +12 to get the right time.
