I'm posting this for someone else. I wasn't able to help him, however, so I hope the community here can!

Situation:

Installed XOOPS according to the instructions. Works from local host. Go to another computer the network, however, and enter the XOOPS computer's IP address into the address bar yields this, however:

Resized Image

Any ideas on what might be wrong and how to fix it?

Thanks everyone!

Looks to me like the theme isn't rendering.

I've seen this on two occasions:

1. With a new theme. Cure by going to admin>preferences and switching on "Check for new templates".

2. Whilst waiting for a new sub-domain to become active after my host's server reloaded. Cure = time!

Is the hosting computer able to "share" all the themes information? Sorry, I don't know the tech terminology. Firewall issue, perhaps?

what value you have in mainfile.php for XOOPS_URL?

Make shure it is not 127.0.0.1 or localhost. If it is, chage to host IP...
