I am seeing more and more of this type of thing online.

The module would allow for an event to be started, with a specific end date. registered users could log in, upload x number of images, with appropriate information, and pay for their entry fee into the contest.

I haven't seen the admin side of this type of thing but I have to assume that there is a specific judging area for a group called "judges" or something. They can slideshow thru the image collection and rate the images.

Anybody interested in talking about/creating a module like that?
