Help needed to install xoops editor

Hi, I need help to install Xoopseditor. I've downloaded the package from Xoopsaddons, extracted the file to root/class/ but now I'm stuck. what to do now?

Latest version of XoopsEditor package is 1.21 and you also need XOOPS Framework.
Both can be downloaded here.

It depends on the module how you can use them. Some modules let you set a preferred editor from the preferences, others let you choose one from a menu before creating an article.

You could download the Koivi (a.k.a. XK-Editor) stand-alone editor, which you may be able to get from this archive of the module dev forge. Put the Koivi 'wysiwyg' folder into 'class' and simply select Koivi in the 'News' and 'SmartSection' module prefs. Easy.

Or you can use Frameworks + XoopsEditor package as suggested.
