Hi,

I am trying to install Protector on a remote site and I am not able to. I get the following PHP error message

"Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/bharosa/modules/protector/xoops_version.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /vservers/skeeter233/htdocs/modules/protector/xoops_version.php on line 9"

XOOPS Version:2.0.17
Module Name/Version: Protector 3.04
PHP Version:5.1.6
MySQL Version:5.0.22
Web Server Software (Apache/IIS/Other): Apache/2.2.3
Operating System: Red Hat
Theme you are using: Default
Custom template: No

I used the same zip file from http://xoops.peak.ne.jp to install it on my laptop and it worked well and is still working well.

Will somebody help me with fix the installation error so that I can install Protector on my site?

Your assistance will be appreciated,

Jolly

After some help from my web hosting company, I was able to figure out the problem. Directory path for "trust_path" in mainfile.php was incomplete/incorrect. After I changed it to correct path, it worked.
