I'm making my own theme, and I would like the background image in the left column of my site to continue all the way to the bottom of the window. I have added the background image in the style.css file in my theme directory, but the background image only displays as far as the bottom of the lowest block on the left.

I would prefer the background image to extend all the way down. Any ideas?
