I installed a module however there was an issue with its installation. After i installed it, the following message would appear: module file not found!

After searching the forums I realized the mose probable cause is because I had changed the name of the file before installing it. After deactivating the module and clicking on the uninstall icon the browser takes me to a blank page. I cant seem to get it to actually uninstall the module. if someone could please give me some advice on some probable causes of this, it would be greatly appriciated.

you could try renaming it back to what it was before, or even try deleting the module's folder (back up first!!), then try uninstalling via the admin panel. Even if the folder is not there, its setup is still in the database

also if you turn on php debugging, it may show an error message that may lead to an answer as well
