When creating a new poll I have tried entering an image HTML code (for example: < img src="http://linktoimage.com" >) and the code appears as the option, not the image.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Image files must end in .jpg .gif or other image type extention.

It cannot end in .com as in your example.

The XOOPS image on the side of the page here as an example full path is https://xoops.org/uploads/xoopsbook.jpg

Note the .jpg ending.

Can a Xoopspoll option be HTML?
I may have misunderstood your question from looking at the example. I am not familar with Xoopspoll options.

I do know I have missed the drop down menu that allowed for the html or automatic select which caused me to think that a particular box did not allow for html when in fact it was a selectable option. That is why they call this the Beginners Corner. We don't yet know what it is we can overlook.

Good luck

mozzwald,

The old XOOPSPoll module does not work with HTML. I believe the more advanced survey module will handle this level of functionality though. I'm not 100% sure because I haven't used that module in a couple years, but I do know it is a lot more feature rich than the old XOOPSPoll module.
