I am putting together a new site using XOOPS 2.0.16 and would like to include a blog for the owner. Could someone point me to a simple to use blog mod? I would even use what someone here referred to a "blog made from a news clone" if it works.

I've been using Weblog 1.46 on my site. It's easy to use. My site is XOOPS 2.0.16. The only thing I had a problem with was the trackback feature but that was only because of spam. I edited the template to remove it. Check it out my site to see how the blog looks. It's the first page.

where can I find the latest version of Weblog? The latest one i could find was 1.42, and that was on a Japanese site where I couldn't read anything so I couldn't download it. I have 1.41 running on my site right now, but the post count and comment counts don't update with new posts...do they work in 1.46?

It took me forever to find it. I don't know why someone doesn't update it in the module repository.

Anyway I found it on a german site. You have to register to download which sucks but...
