I switched servers, changed the mainfile and my site works again, however. WFSection gives me a blank screen.

When I try to update the system module, or any other module it gives me the error can't write to main menu.

When i remove wfsection, and reinstall it, it gives me an error with failed open file on the top left.

Anyone know what I can do about this? WFsection is the main point on my site.

WF-Section is still one of the best article modules for XOOPS (IMHO) but it was designed when PHP 4 and MySQL 3.32 were the standard. I run it using that combination and it works a treat, but if your new server runs PHP 5 and MySQL 5 it probably won't function properly.

For anyone to troubleshoot this, they will need to know your new server config?.

Yeah i think that's the problem :(

i installed 2.0.13.2 and 2.0.16 and the older wfsection 1.01 and it gives me the following error in php debug mode.

Is there any possibility to get WFsection 1.01 running on my site? it's kind of vital to get it going.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

I wouldn't be too optimistic though! A XOOPS user did a mini-test some time ago on the more popular XOOPS modules to see if they ran under PHP 5 and many of them failed.

I have 200+ reviews, with the proper links, all figured out in wfsection 1.01. I can't put that into any other wfsection, since there is no updater or whatever. So it's vital to get 1.01 running, till i get my new site done.

If it's version one - then there is an importer for SmartSection ... perhaps doing a local test using this would be an idea.. and a re-direct module like "Solo"'s "Moved" module may help redirect old links to a new location.
