where does xoops store cache?

Hi i've enable module-wide cache and just wondered where it is that XOOPS stores the cache. Just curious as templates_c hasnt changed yet my sites have sped up dramatically so it must be working.

There is 'cache' folder ...

'template_c' is for compiled templates.
