HI,
I am using $_GET to obtain variables from my url and trimmed of striptags i.e
http://www.mysite.com/index.php?have=1

Everything is going fine but when I try to update my MySQL tables, I cannot because of just performing the $_GET

How can I pull the variables I need off the url then update my database.
oh and how do I use my own $_SESSIONS as I am setting the session but then when I change webpage, the session becomes empty

If anyone can answer these for me I would be happy for ever.
