Isn't it the truth. I am faced with a little option anxiety, since there are so many options. I will give these a try.

Wiwimod is easiest isn't it...as then you can set access for who needs it, give admin to some groups like teachers, who can then allow pages for students...basically a wiki..yet that would allow you to set out how far down certain pages are for diffrent subjects....also allows you to link any blocks on a page as many times as you need with out block admin.

Article could also be used as we have just done, which has multipages, which can then be transfered to the forum for further discussion...you can also set a topic for a set period of time within article...

Sandbox-type pages for departments
by mcoleman on 2006/10/5 16:23:24

I am assembling a school website and on our old website, PTSA, Guidance and others had their own Wordpress install to manage their own parts of the site. I am looking for a way to recreate this functionality for them. Can there be multiple WP blogs in xoops? OR is there another module anyone can recommend that would allow very basic content management for these departments in their own section of the site?
