Hello, i've installed CBB 3.05, not an update, a clean install (well i think it was clean as i had no warning at all).

First i had a bug with all my posts allways showing as never seen.
Then i checked a bit the various boards, faqs etc. and came back to the plugin.dist.php, edited the file to the values i thinked fine.
Here in fact i told the file to save the seen posts in DB, i think it's the best to allow people to check posts from various computers.

Well, i'm not sure but it seems to work now, when i select to mark all the posts as readen the various icons in front of the posts turns to readen status.(except for the empty forums but i think this is normal).

But, now when i select to show all the unread posts, the forum is showing all the various posts in the forum.

I never had bugs with the forums by the past on XOOPS and was a bit used to upload the files, install module from admin, set categories and forums rights and all was ok.

Have i done something wrong, is it a known bug?? can't find any clue on this point.
Any help is welcome.

Edit : By the way, it seems that the forums on this site are running fine newbb as module name makes me think it's perhaps cbb too?? what's the version you are using here please??

Edit 2: After checking deeper, when i select to show the unread subjects, the forums seems to redirect me to show all the posts.

You can also change the colours of your selection's you know in the CSS file, with CBB so that it matches your site which looks cool except for the blue selection boxes...

On ours we have each theme with its own CSS for the selection boxes and the CSS in CBB missed out....

Yet unsure on the problem...sorry can't be more help..

The 'View new posts' feature hasn't worked in any of the CBB '3' series. Hopefully it will be fixed in v4. I use CBB 1.16a, where AFAIK everything works (in XOOPS 2.0.13.2 anyway). I remain optimistic there will be an upgrade path to v4.

Well your best bet I would say is post suggestions on Phppp main site http://www.xoopsforge.com in the CBB Sugestions...
That way he might see incase he misses it here, as always he is very busy with improvments for Xoops...so unsure how much time he gets to surf here for stuff...
May help if people make module sugestions more to the authors own sites..as I know I try to knowing how hard it can be to keep track of it all, as well as having your head in php clouds programming..
