I searched for this, but didn't come up with the answers I needed. Either syntax is wrong, or I'm completely missing the point...
I've got a pretty well locked down site I'm running, and I need to be able to go directly to the news page INSTEAD of the user configuration / info screen after logging in. it's throwing my users off (you'd understand if you knew...) and I need (must have) the page immediately default to the news page (which is set in the preferences menu) but it instead loads the user configuration page.
Edit - fixed it. Nevermind. Had to remove the login block access to anonymous users so that the permissions would force a user to log in using the middle block - now it defaults to the news page.
