I couldn't find any information on this problem within the forums or elsewhere on the site. I'm running the xhelp module v. 78 on XOOPS 2.2.4 and I am not getting any error messages at any time. However, I am having trouble with the following:

In xhelp, I have 3 roles defined: Browser, Support, and Ticket Manager. I also have 18 Departments to which I can assign staff. My problem is that xhelp is not letting me assign 1 staff member to be SUPPORT in one Department and then TICKET MANAGER in another. It appears to force each staff member to have the same role(s) in each department to which they belong. The Customize option seems like it is made to allow for what I am trying to do. However, the changes that I make within Customize do not go through.

Any suggestions?

ack, I spoke too soon..

Problem resolved.
after messing around with it some more, I figured out the problem. I thought that clicking "Customize" and going through with that was enough to make the change stick. However, the change doesn't stick until you then also update the entire set of roles and departments again for that individual.
