Error msg in the DMS Create Document area

I am receiving an error message in the create a document in the DMS module.
Quote:
Error: Failure to copy file. Either source path or destination path is not accessable.

This is not when attempting to copy a file just when attempting to create a new file/document.
So I am assuming that it is the destination path that is at fault and this is:
Quote:
/home/kobra/public_html/xoops/docs

The /docs directory exists and is set to 777
Is there something obvious to someone else that I have overlooked?
