Does anyone know of or perhaps working on a mod which would monitor a network folder or local folder for files and when it detects a file dropped into the folder it automatically uploads it to the a pre-defined dir on the webserver?

I will check this out.

Of course one solution would be a script or ftp client with timer...checking the folder every few minutes to upload files. The problem is really how does one get that file into the XOOPS downloads? That's really the big problem I think. Automating the insertion of the file into the download section once it's been uploaded to the correct dir.

I'm probably doing a very bad job at explaining this;).
