hi,

i checked the forum for help on the chmod 444 but the cpanel of my webhosting only is simple. i cannot chmod thru that cpanel.

Using smartFTP 2.0 doesnt help either.

Is there a way to logon to the website thru a terminal like in linux ?telnet perhaps ? if so how do i use it ?

thanks for any tips in beforehand.

Or any other way to change the file to 444 ? as i said Cpanel on the host is simple and doesnt have chmod abbilities.
