Could You please suggest appropriate modules to solve my questions, if it's workable of course

1 LANG >> I'd like to publish some of news in 2 language versions (site'll be English, generally). Is there any possibility to choose language version on the run? (for each news separately)

2 USERS >>
a) I need to redefine user info records in user profile. I mean, i.e. to remove/hide ICQ and add Phone no.
b) I'm also looking for a module that can help me with the following task: to list user names (grouped by "permission groups")
