How change language in Options of mail and in Way of Notification

I do not know like changing language in the Options of mail and the Way of Notification in Edit profile. I already changed the phrases in language/spanish/notification.php but it does not pass anything, follows everything in English. Also I erased templates_c, cache and I updated the module systema and p.m..
