I spend alot of time rifling through dev and see alot of great concepts that never make it past planning. XOOPSLADDER among a long list of other "active" projects have sat tantalizing us for a very long time. Now I think we all understand how much work goes into all of this and this is more about covenience and organization than harrassment. (sorry to single your project out regardless Mith)

My question is, at what point are projects removed or atleast seperated into a different category. I mean I understand that leaving the idea up there is great just in case someone wants to pick it up. It just seems that if these projects were seperated attention would be drawn to them as well as offering a less clustered projects page.

Just a thought.

The d.x.o is currently under a maintenance status, means that it will be kept as it is till the XOOPS 2.3 is ready for module developers to work on, by then the d.x.o will be re-organized.

Any suggestion/comment is welcome even before the re-organizing plan is announced : )

I have one.

I didn't think of bringing it up but since the topic is open...

Is it possible to take off the most downloaded block? Most of those modules are deprecated and unsupported versions.

This will really confuse new users, when trying to find the best modules.

Cheers.

Here's 2 suggestions:

1) marking off inactive projects, but in such a way that the original developer can resurrect them - or new developers can take them over

2) marking older modules with their relevent XOOPS compatible versions
