I've been serching now for almost an hour for this error and the solution to this, but as u may guess.. I can't find it.

After installing XOOPS 2.2 all I get is a page that says 'no language file.' Is this a common mistake? And what can be done?

Please be gentle with me since this is my first post and I'm almost certain I didnt look in the right place or posted in the wrong forum.. Sorry for that.

But i'm getting so sick of this now that I'm rethinking my choice for xoops.. And the program looks so #OOPS# good so I do want to use it! I feel like I've tried everything now and I can't figure it out..

Please help, thanks alot.. Eric.

ps: http://www.erixzone.com [there u can see the error]

You are missing files in the [xoops_root]/install/language/english/ directory.

Try uploading the language files again, that should fix the error.

I wish it was that easy.. It's all there.
But I'll try to re-install anyway now...
