| by parichards on 2006/2/18 13:15:54 Thanks to the overwhelming support, I just ended up writing my own  Just sort of hacked together checklogin.php and rss.php so if the script is passed a valid user id and password combination, they get access to all the forums. As of right now, it doesn't do any group checking since I didn't need that. Thanks, Pete |
| Authenticate in RSS for Forums? |
| by parichards on 2006/2/13 18:42:26 Is it possible to authenticate to the RSS feed from the forums? I am using XOOPS 2.2.3 Final which has CBB 2.2 and I have forums which are restricted to certain user groups. I would like to be able to have the users be able to pull in the RSS from the private forums by specifying the user ID and password in the RSS request. I realize that it's a bit of a security risk, but I'm not all that concerned for this site. So, is there a method to do this? Thanks, Pete |
