Hi, I just got XOOPS and Im not firmiliar with the modules, so hopefully someone can give me a recommendation.

Im looking for a news type module that will allow content on the front page and content in a news section, however I want to specify certain members of the site that can make their own posts to the news that will appear on the front page, etc., however not have access to any other admin privledges.

Whats the best suited module for this?

Your request has to do with the module admin rights. Assign these members to a specific Group and give them the necessary rights to the module (any!).
