Xoops Version 2.2.3a Final - Fresh installation
Hosted by my ISP

I am having problems with xcgallery version 1.1. I made a fresh install of XOOPS 2.2.3a Final and have installed most of the module packs. The XCGallery installaton was without any problem. It was only after the first picture was uploaded. When I clicked on the Random Image picture then I got nothing more than a blank page.

I have PHP Debug engaged and get the following permanently, but everything is working ok.

If I click on an image to display it in XCGallery then I get the following information.
BTW All album / userpic directories are CHMOD 0777 - only way they will upload fully
Resizing is via GD Version 2.2 - no imagemagick available in hosting package

Try XCGallery 2.02 I don't think 1.1 works with XOOPS 2.2.3

If anyone can help me, others can upload pictures to the site, but I can not. IE and Firefox tells me my connection was reset. I have a cable connection through a linksys router. I have messed with and reset the router with no luck. Any help out there?

Thanks AADMavRic, I have dumped the old version and have already installed the latest release - it seems to work very well.

Please regard this problem as closed - as AADMavRic said, it seems that the older versions are now dead meat with 2.2.3a

I agree. The 2.02 (which I believe is still in Beta) really rocks.

The stumbling block for my users has been the need to enter "Admin" mode before they can upload their first picture.

Other than that it seems pretty stable and easy for for people to use.

Hello terrion, I think I may have found another stumbler: I cannot find the Permissions to block particular albums from annonymous viewers. This was a problem in the past which seems to be have fixed in version 1.1 I have a 2.0.xx installation still running with xcgallery 1.1 and all permission functions are working properly. In this version I cannot even find them, I did make sure I was wearing my glasses. Maybe we will have to be patient till its all ironed out.
