I couldn't help to notice that the setup for the XOOPS News on this site looks like it was apart of the forum a bit. Is it possible to be able to use the CBB in a way of handling the posts for the News module? If so that would be great.

My situation is that I find that the forum gets used a lot more often than the News section, but if there were some features from the CBB it would probably be more consistent with everything else on the site. It would also allow me to not use the forum if there is only going to be a few topics that are going to be discussed.
