auto-upgrader question

I'm trying to make a XOOPS 2.0.13.1-to-2.2.3.a auto-upgrader script for Installatron (http://www.installatron.com), and I need to be able to run the xoopsupdate.php script without being logged in.

I can modify any file in the install, and the database too. I've got it to skip the "submit" step and go straight for the upgrade stuff, but it redirects to error.php?c=1 so I assume it needs the http'er to be logged in.

Any way to do this?
