I have changed the setting, how to I make it take affect site wide? When I change it, it dont change the setting in the forums...and other places.

its a setting that is changed in individual user profiles. if you log out your anaonymous users should see your "default settings. and i believe any new registrants will automatically have your new default as theirs. However your old users have to set this in their "edit profile" under "user menu"
