Question about XOOPS versions

I am preparing to put up a site for a client using XOOPS, and I am trying to decide which version to use. XOOPS 2.0.13 seems to be listed as the latest stable version, and 2.2.3 is an RC (because it was released as a full version and then big bugs were found). So I have a couple of questions:

1. Is 2.2.2 stable? Or is there any reason I shouldn't use it for a production site?

2. Is there any estimate on how soon 2.2.3 will be available as a full release?

Thanks!

Re: Question about XOOPS versions

Until 2.2.3 comes out of RC status, I would suggest using 2.0.13.1 for any production site.

Why is 2.2.2 not recommended?

Because it is not as stable as 2.0.13.1 is (which is logical considering the 2.0.x series has had over 2 years of bugfixes and patches to become this stable).
