help! how can i make an alternating row colors in center center block? or if not, using the td. Ive tried cycle values but it alternates color in every block, not every rows inside a specific block

Cycle values is the answer. You can still cycle values, but you need to apply the changes to the row defintion (the TR) instead of the cell definition (the TD/TH). I define two classes -- odd & even -- each with a differing background color, and then cycle through the classes to apply to each row which does what you are asking.
