In admin we can select the default language via the pulldown menu. I want to add Japanese to the menu.
Can't figure out how to do this!
I can strip out the files from the Jp files to install but I can't see that XOOPS will know how to detect it.
Can this be done or is the language menu redundant?

If you have a japanese language folder in XOOPS_URL/language/ then the japanese language will show in the admin section for selecting your default language.

Make sure you also have japanese language folders/files in the language directory of each module you use, including the system module, so that the language for each module uses japanese as well.
