We're about to switch from phpbb + MX to Xoops. A lot of things seem better in Xoops, but one thing I really like in phpbb is the [ quote="username" ] function and the way it's then displayed in the post.
I'd love to see that implemented/hacked in NewBB.

Less important, but still something I'd appreciate in future is an edit_time column in the posts table to keep track of what users do.
