I'd like to see permission based FAQ import and export. Several uses:
Module writers could offer ready to import FAQ pages for admin and user docs. Especially usage docs that the regular user can refer to for any or all modules on a site.
Anyone that wanted to offer FAQ exports could do so.

It isn't too hard to copy paste but perhaps an import would be nice for maintaing formatting. Images however might be a problem for full plug 'n play.

Maybe a job for SmartPartner but I put it here since it is a more generic request.

I think this would be an excellent idea.
I know that on the SmartFaq download page there is a faq for XOOPS basic usage with about 65 entries complete with pictures installed via database import. So it is possible.

It would be great way to expand the knowledge on usage of some modules, and other more general functions.

Thanks. I have the SF FAQs but it is more suited to a new install since it will drop the original tables. The process will be more complicated than an SQL import.

Sounds like this is very similar to the request I made in Export xHelp to SmartFAQ?.

I too think it would be extremely useful for SmarFAQ to be able to accept imports from other modules, but I lack the coding skills to make it happen.
