I'm new to Xoops, new to PHP (I'm a Coldfusion programmer), but this is just what I need to sling a quick community site together before the upcoming UK election.

I've managed to work out pretty much everything from searching the forums, and reading the documentation, and tweaking bits here and there.

but is there any way to force dates to display in UK format? Or change them in any other way?

Look in xoops-root/language/english/global.php

At the bottom of the file you'll find what you're looking for



A list of date formats is there as well.
