Can someone point me in the right direction here.

I run my own server. When hosting a few XOOPS sits on my old ISP I had no troubles sending out emails for activation and lost passwords ect..

I have moved now and am with "good" old Insight broadband....

They have port 25 blocked and require me to do a ton of little configures with outlook just to be able to send out an email.

requires authentication
outgoing mail (smtp) port 465
server requires a secure connction (SSL) ect.. ect..

Is there any way to conifgure XOOPS mail options to allow outgoing mail from the site to work in this conditon? Or am I sort of screwed?

You might be able to use your ISP's mail server as a smarthost, but you'll need to configure your SMTP server to connect to their non standard port. Smarthost works fine, I do it myself. If you can not do this then I'd be looking for a new ISP that stipulates you can run your own servers.
